FINALS FORMATS
Round Robin Matchplay
Cut to 8, 12, 16
- Match play games = # of bowlers advanced.
- Final game is position round
- This needs to be setup as a separate round from your games of matchplay
- Things to double check
- Games per round: This is the amount of games per opponent to play in matchplay. Typically this is set to 1 for one game per opponent.
- Turn on Match points under Scoring -> Points
- 1 Point per Team Scratch Win
- Turn on Bonus pins under Scoring -> Points
- 30 bonus pins per win (15 each per tie)
Bracket
- Cut to 4, 6, 8, 12, 16
- Options to include bye rounds for 12, 16 bowlers
- 12 man 1-4 seeds 1 round bye
- 16 man 1-4 2 bye, 5-8 1 bye
- 16 man option for no bye
- Bowlers eliminated either by best of matches or total pinfall.
- Tie breakers are single ball roll offs
- Optional cut to stepladder finals (4 or 5 including wild card)
Eliminator
- Multiple rounds to be determined by director. After qualifying, cut to number TBD
Bowl additional games (no bonus pints) cut to a smaller number.
Continue either to conclusion or to a stepladder finals (2,3,4, or 5)
DOUBLES
- Baker Finals
- Each bowler qualifies bowling all frames. Combined pinfall determines positions.
- Finals are Baker games – either bracket or round robin formats are used.
- Traditional Doubles
- All bowlers roll full games. Use any of the singles formats above.
- All bowlers roll full games. Use any of the singles formats above.
- Baker Event
- Teams bowl entire event as a Baker team. Uses any of the singles regional formats listed above.
